Award/Introducing Lost in a Book

My new friend Emily gave Blogful of Books an award this past week. Isn't it cute?

The rules:
1. First, thank and link back to the person that gave the award.
2. Answer the 10 survey questions.
3. Pass the award along to other bloggers whom you think are fantastic.
4. Contact the bloggers you have chosen to let them know about the award.

The questions:
1. If you blog anonymously, are you happy doing this? If you aren't anonymous do you wish you started out anonymously, so that you could be anonymous now? I didn't start out anonymous and I'm glad I didn't. I like my blog to be open to everyone.

2. Describe an incident that shows your inner stubborn side. This isn't a question! Oh well... I don't know of a particular incident, but, for example, I'm stubborn when it comes to schedules. I like having schedules, especially schedules in advance when I'm going to spend time with other people. I have had difficulty in the past to be flexible when someone calls the day of and asks me to do something. Thankfully I'm a pretty nice person, because at times I have felt like saying a rude "no" even though I didn't have anything planned.

3. What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror? I still see a little girl...

4. What is your favorite summer cold drink? I like lemonade, but it isn't my favorite. I don't really have  a "summer" favorite.

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do? Read, blog, or watch a movie.

6. Is there something you still want to accomplish in your life? Plenty of things, plenty.

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the overachiever, the shy person, or always ditching? The overachiever.

8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment in your life, what would you see? I need to think on this one.

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog, or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people and events? It's pretty easy to share my true self.

10. If you had the choice to sit down and read or talk on the phone, which would you choose and why? Sit down and read. (And, no, I didn't choose that because this is a book blog.) I really dread talking on the phone.

I'd like to give this award to:

I'd also like to take this moment to introduce Emily's new blog, Lost in a Book. It's a book club where readers from anywhere read a book together and discuss it (we're on Emma by Jane Austen right now). Check it out. It has a lot of potential!
