I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Instead, I've been sitting idly by (actually I was in the midst of my first semester of college) while book upon book piled up around me. It was like a nightmare: they called out to me, "Read me...read me." But I just couldn't handle reading my TBR pile and by school books.
So now, the semester over, I realize how much catching up I really have to do. I've failed miserably at all of my reading challenges, but I'm accepting that. I'm behind in by review books, which should never be acceptable, but I hope the publishers will forgive me. I have about three that I need to finish and review. It's like one of my professors often says: Where have we been? Where are we going? I'm realizing the importance of using my reading time wisely. And planning my blogging times, too. Not that reading and blogging are the most important things in the world, but those are two things I don't want to lose.
On that note, I'm off to study for a final, and hopefully read more of the book I'm currently devouring, East of Eden by John Steinbeck.
