Since I sort of went overboard last fall with my list--and ended up cutting a few books--I'm going to try to hold back. We'll see how that works!
This spring, I hope to read:
- Cranford by Elisabeth Gaskell. After watching the BBC production a couple of weeks ago, I decided to read the book.
- Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. This is a big one, and I don't know if I'll be able to finish it and the other books in three months! But, I'll try.
- I Kissed Dating Goodbye by Josh Harris. I have read this before, actually, but I was only thirteen I think and I would like to give it a whirl again.
- A Chance to Die by Elisabeth Elliot. I'm nearly halfway through this one but I have been letting other books get in the way. This is one I really want to finish this spring.
- The Band that Played On: The Extraordinary Story of the 8 Musicians Who Went Down with the Titanic by Steve Turner. I'm in the middle of this one as well. It is really interesting!

Happy Spring and Happy Reading!
Hi Jennifer! I found your link through In the Bookcase, and was stopping by. ;) I have a book blog, too, and I wanted to let you know that I added your link to my book blog list. ;)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Shaynie
I just saw the Titanic exhibit so that one about the Titanic caught my eye! Happy spring reading.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your reading list! When I read 'Les Miserables' I finished it in just over a month--and that was with taking *several* breaks from it. So there's hope for you too!
ReplyDeleteIt's been about 10 years since I've read "A Chance to Die". Its great! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou can always add more books if you need to, right? :) I'm with you -- it seems I'm always picking up another book instead of focusing on finish the one I'm *supposed* to be reading! Thanks for being part of SRT '11!
